Primary Care

Dr. Madeline Deutsch specializes in providing primary care for gender and sexual minorities, including individuals from the transgender, nonbinary gender, gay, lesbian, bisexual and queer communities. She is the director of UCSF Gender Affirming Health Program and specializes in managing gender-affirming hormone therapy. Other areas of interest include contraception management and working with patients who have more than one mental health condition.

Academic medical center clinic co-located with the Eli Coleman Institute for Sexual and Gender Health, providing specialized gender-affirming care for transgender and gender-diverse patients across the lifespan.

The University of Utah Health Transgender Health Program provides comprehensive gender-affirming care for transgender adults in a fully trans-affirmative academic medical environment. Services include primary care, feminizing and masculinizing hormone therapy, gender-affirming surgical referrals, gynecology and urology, mental health services, and support groups. The program serves patients from across Utah and the Intermountain West.

USA Health Adolescent & Young Adult Health is an academic medicine clinic in Mobile serving patients ages 12 to 25. The program provides adolescent primary and preventive care, eating-disorder evaluation, STI services, and reproductive and sexual health counseling. The clinic provides LGBTQ-affirming adolescent and young-adult care, including support for patients with gender identity concerns.
